The Equipment Behind the Work We Do
The apparatus and equipment at West Deer Volunteer Fire Department #2 play an important role in helping us respond when our community needs us. Our trucks, support vehicles, and related equipment reflect years of growth, investment, and continued improvement as the department has adapted over time.
As West Deer Volunteer Fire Department #2 has grown, our equipment has changed with it to help meet the demands of fire protection, emergency response, and local service.
A Department That Continues to Grow
From early equipment purchases to later replacements and upgrades, West Deer Volunteer Fire Department #2 has continued improving its apparatus to better serve the community. The original history text references the department’s Dodge Power Wagon, 1957 ambulance, Seagrave engine, ladder truck, tanker, Spartan/Smeal engine, and Spartan/Precision tanker as part of that ongoing growth.
